Motivation

Following the result of the previous fork proposal BIP-929, the MAXYZ continued conversations with partners, internal and external to Balancer DAO, and still see a path forward. As a matter of fact, feedback on our vision has been so positive that it is difficult for us to not continue our efforts.

This concise proposal is primarily asking the Balancer community for their blessing to pursue a formal fork of Balancer. We want to prevent any misinterpretations and make sure that forking is not against the wis
